... from right here in simple Central Florida. Renee struggles with addiction, depression and cutting. Jamie and friends spend five days with her before she enters rehab. They surround her with music, coffee, and love.
Our friend Jamie Tworkowski shares the story of one local girl's journey from pain to hope and healing. It is real. A MySpace
becomes home base for her story. T-shirts are printed to help pay for Renee's rehab. Those shirts end up on members of Underoath, Thrice, Switchfoot, Anberlin, Paramore, Copeland and more. Fast forward seven months. Renee is sober and alive. The MySpace has 20,000 friends, some as far away as Japan, Australia, and Europe.
To Write Love On Her Arms is now a non-profit movement
